It's unfortunate, but I will not be buying Maxwell house anymore. My face has completely cleared except for some scarring. So it could have been the coffee, but I doubt it. For a typical 8-ounce cup of coffee, there will be a caffeine content of 112 milligrams. instant that had sat in my cupboard for some time. For fans of dark roast coffee, the Folgers Black Silk is hard to beat. What are they using formaldihyde? When I'd drink those I felt normal and would have an extra boost of energy. I am going to see how to have it tested. JJust purchased a can of Maxwell House ground coffee, original roast medium because I ran out of my favorite Aldi's blend & Aldis was already closed early for New Year's Eve. They were greasy which they never are. It makes us both feel horrible. While robusta beans contain more caffeine, they have little to no flavor subtlety. These coffees have been horrible for years now. Even the off brands. I have been drinking mh for over 40 years never had a problem until the past few months. Quit drinking the coffee and I have had no problems since. Once coffee is ground it begins to loose its flavor almost immediately even if it's vacuumed packed. So, I contacted the store and manufacturer for them to investigate. My ADVERSE REACTION IS REAL!! I had some McD's coffee the other morning as we were traveling, and it was good.
